Section 239V — Companies Act 1993: Administrator's powers

239V Administrator's powers (1) The administrator has the powers— (a) to carry out the functions and duties of an administrator under this Act; and (b) conferred on an administrator under this Act. (2) An administrator's powers include the powers to— (a) begin, continue, discontinue, and defend legal proceedings; and (b) carry on, to the extent necessary for the administration of the company, the business of the company; and (c) appoint an agent to do anything that the administrator has power to do.
