Section 265 — Companies Act 1993: Examination by liquidator

265 Examination by liquidator (1) A liquidator or a barrister or solicitor acting on behalf of the liquidator may administer an oath to, or take the affirmation of, a person required to be examined under section 261 of this Act. (2) A person required to be examined under section 261 of this Act is entitled to be represented by a barrister or solicitor. (3) A liquidator or a barrister or solicitor acting on behalf of the liquidator who conducts an examination under section 261 of this Act must ensure that the examination is recorded in writing or by means of a tape recorder or other similar device.
