Section 6 — Companies Act 1993: Extended meaning of subsidiary

6 Extended meaning of subsidiary For the purposes of this Act, a company within the meaning of section 2 of the Companies Act 1955 is a subsidiary of another company if, were it a company within the meaning of section 2 of this Act, it would be a subsidiary of that other company.
