Section 137 — Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act 2003: Conflict of laws

137 Conflict of laws This Act applies to a credit contract, guarantee, lease, or buy-back transaction if the contract, guarantee, lease, or transaction— (a) is governed by the law of New Zealand; or (b) would be governed by the law of New Zealand but for a choice of law provision in the contract, guarantee, lease, or transaction.
