Section 33 — Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act 2003: Assumptions

33 Assumptions (1) Information that is required to be disclosed under this Act may be disclosed by using or applying the assumptions that are prescribed for the purposes of this section in accordance with the terms and conditions (if any) that apply to those assumptions. (2) Information that is required to be disclosed under this Act that is not otherwise ascertainable must be treated as ascertainable if it is ascertainable on the basis of the prescribed assumptions as at the date that the disclosure statement is prepared. (3) Information disclosed in a disclosure statement must be treated as correctly disclosed if it is within the prescribed assumptions.
