Section 6 — Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act 2003: Meaning of credit

6 Meaning of credit In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, credit is provided under a contract if a right is granted by a person to another person to— (a) defer payment of a debt; or (b) incur a debt and defer its payment; or (c) purchase property or services and defer payment for that purchase (in whole or in part).
