“ 36A Voluntary return of goods “ (1) A secured credit sale agreement is terminated by the return of the consumer goods comprised in the agreement if they are returned— “ (a) in accordance with any term of the agreement that permits the debtor to return the goods and terminate the agreement; or “ (b) by the debtor for the purpose of terminating the agreement and the creditor agrees to the termination of the agreement. “ (2) Subject to section 36B, if a secured credit sale agreement is terminated under subsection (1), the rights and liabilities of the creditor and the debtor are to be determined as if the consumer goods had been repossessed by the creditor on the date that they were returned by the debtor. “ (3) Nothing in this section or section 36B limits or affects any right that the debtor has apart from this section to terminate a secured credit sale agreement. “ Compare: 1971 No 147 s 24(1), (2), (7)
