240A Aggravated burglary [Repealed] Section 240A was inserted, as from 28 October 1986, by section 6 Crimes Amendment Act (No 2) 1986 (1986 No 71). Subsection (2) was inserted, as from 2 July 1999, by section 4 Crimes (Home Invasion) Amendment Act 1999 (1999 No 75). Subsection (2) was repealed, as from 30 June 2002, by section 164(b) Sentencing Act 2002 (2002 No 9). See sections 148 to 160 Sentencing Act 2002 (2002 No 9) for the savings and transitional provisions. See clause 2 Sentencing Act Commencement Order 2002 (SR 2002/176). Part 10 (comprising sections 217 to 305) was substituted by a new Part 10 (comprising sections 217 to 272), as from 1 October 2003, by section 15 Crimes Amendment Act 2003 (2003 No 39).
