Section 262 — Crimes Act 1961: Counterfeiting corporate seals

262 Counterfeiting corporate seals Every one is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years who— (a) unlawfully makes or counterfeits— (i) any seal or stamp used in New Zealand or any other country by any company or other corporate body (not being a body to which section 261 applies), or by any other person; or (ii) the impression of any such seal or stamp; or (b) uses any such seal, stamp, or impression, knowing it to be counterfeit.
