Section 313 — Crimes Act 1961: General provisions as to procedure

313 General provisions as to procedure (1) This Part of this Act shall be read subject to any special provisions of this Act or of any other enactment relating to the procedure in any particular case. (2) Subject as aforesaid, the procedure, from information to committal for trial or sentence, shall be as prescribed by the Summary Proceedings Act 1957 . (3) Except as otherwise provided in this Act, there shall be one uniform procedure in respect of all offences for which the offender is proceeded against by indictment.
