Section 76 — Crimes Act 1961: Punishment for being party to treason

76 Punishment for being party to treason Every one is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 7 years who— (a) Becomes an accessory after the fact to treason; or (b) Knowing that a person is about to commit treason, fails without reasonable excuse to inform a constable as soon as possible or to use other reasonable efforts to prevent its commission.
