Section 77 — Crimes Act 1961: Inciting to mutiny

77 Inciting to mutiny Every one owing allegiance to Her Majesty the Queen in right of New Zealand is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 10 years who, within or outside New Zealand, for any traitorous or mutinous purpose,— (a) Endeavours at any time to seduce any person serving in the New Zealand forces from his duty; or (b) During any war or state of hostilities in which New Zealand forces are engaged, endeavours to seduce any person serving in any allied armed force, whether a Commonwealth force or not, from his duty.
