Section 110 — District Court Act 2016: Judge must record various matters

110 Judge must record various matters (1) The Judge at a hearing in a proceeding in which there is a right of appeal without leave must record or cause to be recorded, whether by way of transcript or otherwise, the following matters: (a) the facts in evidence; and (b) any question of law or equity raised at the hearing; and (c) the Judge’s decision and of his or her determination of the proceeding. (2) On the application of a party to the proceeding, and on payment of the prescribed fee (if any), the Judge must ensure that a copy of the records, whether in hard copy or electronic form, is provided to that party. (3) Subsection (2) applies whether or not a notice of appeal has been served. Compare: 1947 No 16 s 60
