111 Reference to arbitration (1) The court may, with the consent of the parties to a proceeding, order the proceeding or any issue in dispute in the proceeding to be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration Act 1996 . (2) The Judge may, on the application of a party to the proceeding, revoke the reference. (3) Without limiting subsection (2), a reference may be revoked if the arbitral tribunal does not make an award within 20 working days after the date of the order of reference. (4) An award has the same effect as a judgment of the court and must be entered as a judgment in the proceeding. Compare: 1947 No 16 s 61(1)–(4)
