Section 13 — District Court Act 2016: Appointment of Judge to sit in other jurisdiction or division of court

13 Appointment of Judge to sit in other jurisdiction or division of court (1) A Judge may be appointed to sit in another jurisdiction or division of the court by— (a) warrant of the Governor-General; or (b) designation by the Chief District Court Judge; or (c) other prescribed means. (2) An appointment under subsection (1)(a) or (b) is subject to the procedure prescribed (if any) in any enactment for the issue of the warrant or the making of the designation.
