Section 132 — District Court Act 2016: Judgment may be enforced in any office of District Court

132 Judgment may be enforced in any office of District Court (1) A judgment or an order of the District Court or of a District Court Judge may be enforced in any court comprising the District Court in its general division and need not be enforced in the court in which the judgment was entered or the order made. (2) Two or more proceedings for the enforcement of a judgment or an order may be taken concurrently, but the judgment creditor is not entitled to recover a greater amount than the total of the amount owing under the judgment or order and the costs and fees of any proceeding for enforcement. (3) Enforcement proceedings may be taken concurrently in accordance with subsection (2) in more than 1 court comprising the District Court in its general division. Compare: 1947 No 16 ss 79(6) , 79A
