Section 16 — District Court Act 2016: Tenure of Judges

16 Tenure of Judges (1) A Judge is appointed as a permanent Judge and holds office until he or she resigns, retires, or is removed. (2) The terms and conditions of the appointment of a Judge may be changed only with the consent of the Judge. Compare: 1947 No 16 s 5AA(7)
