Section 38 — District Court Act 2016: Judge’s remuneration must not be reduced

38 Judge’s remuneration must not be reduced (1) The remuneration payable to a Judge must not be reduced while the Judge holds office. (2) For the purposes of subsection (1), none of the following is a diminution of remuneration: (a) the payment of salary on a pro rata basis under section 35 : (b) the payment of reduced salary and allowances under section 37 .
