Section 52 — District Court Act 2016: Appointment of Chief Community Magistrate

52 Appointment of Chief Community Magistrate (1) The Governor-General may, on the advice of the Minister, appoint the Chief Community Magistrate. (2) Regulations made under this Act may prescribe the criteria and procedure for the appointment of the Chief Community Magistrate, but the absence of those regulations does not preclude an appointment.
