Section 63 — District Court Act 2016: Powers of Registrars and Deputy Registrars

63 Powers of Registrars and Deputy Registrars (1) A Registrar has the duties and powers— (a) conferred by this Act, any other enactment, or the rules: (b) necessary or desirable to ensure the efficient and effective administration of the operations of the court. (2) A Deputy Registrar has and may perform and exercise the same duties and powers as a Registrar. (3) Subsection (2) is subject to any provision to the contrary in the rules.
