Section 201 — Employment Relations Act 2000: Seniority

201 Seniority (1) Subject to subsections (2) and (3) , the Judges of the Court other than the Chief Judge have seniority among themselves according to the dates of their appointments as Judges of the Court. (2) If 2 or more of them are both appointed on the same day, they have seniority according to the precedence assigned to them by the Governor-General or, failing any such assignment, according to the order in which they take the judicial oath. (3) Every permanent Judge has seniority over every temporary Judge. Compare: 1991 No 22 s 113(7)
