Section 216 — Employment Relations Act 2000: Obligation to have regard to special jurisdiction of Court

216 Obligation to have regard to special jurisdiction of Court In determining an appeal under section 214 or section 218 , the Court of Appeal must have regard to— (a) the special jurisdiction and powers of the Court; and (b) the object of this Act and the objects of the relevant Parts of this Act; and (c) in particular, the provisions of sections 189 , 190 , 193 , 219 , and 221 .
