Section 235 — Employment Relations Act 2000: Obstruction

235 Obstruction (1) A person commits an offence who, without reasonable cause,— (a) obstructs, delays, hinders, or deceives; or (b) causes to be obstructed, delayed, hindered, or deceived,— any Labour Inspector while the Labour Inspector is lawfully exercising or performing any power, function, or duty. (2) A person who commits an offence against subsection (1) is liable on conviction by the Court to a fine not exceeding $10,000.
