Section 50F — Employment Relations Act 2000: Statements made by parties during facilitation

50F Statements made by parties during facilitation (1) A statement made by a party for the purposes of facilitation is not admissible against the party in proceedings under this Act. (2) A party may make a public statement about facilitation only if— (a) it is made in good faith; and (b) it is limited to the process of facilitation or the progress being made. Sections 50A to 50J were inserted, as from 1 December 2004, by section 14 Employment Relations Amendment Act (No 2) 2004 (2004 No 86). See section 73 of that Act for the transitional provisions.
