Section Sch5-“ 83 — Employment Relations Act 2000: Settlement of disputes

“ 83 Settlement of disputes “ (1) Where there is a dispute about the interpretation, application, or operation of any provision of any agreement that applies to sworn members of the Police,— “ (a) a person bound by the agreement or any party to the agreement may pursue that dispute in accordance with Part 10 of the Employment Relations Act 2000; and “ (b) the person or party pursuing the dispute must ensure that every service organisation that was involved in negotiations for the making or renewal of the agreement has notice of the existence of the dispute. “ (2) Where there is a dispute about the interpretation, application, or operation of any provision of any agreement made under section 77, a person bound by the agreement may pursue that dispute in accordance with Part 10 of the Employment Relations Act 2000. ”
