Section 49 — Fair Trading Act 1986: Repeals and consequential amendments

49 Repeals and consequential amendments (1) The enactment specified in Schedule 1 to this Act is hereby amended in the manner indicated in that Schedule. (2) The enactments specified in Part A of Schedule 2 to this Act are hereby repealed with effect from the commencement of this Act. (3) The enactments specified in Part B of Schedule 2 to this Act are hereby repealed with effect from the 1st day of May 1987. (4) The orders and notices specified in Schedule 3 to this Act are hereby revoked.
