Section 141 — Family Proceedings Act 1980: Effect of registration or confirmation of order made in Commonwealth or designated country

141 Effect of registration or confirmation of order made in Commonwealth or designated country (1) An order that has been registered in New Zealand, and an order (including an order of variation) that has been confirmed in New Zealand (other than an order confirmed under section 139 of this Act), shall remain an order of the Court of the country in which the order was made. (2) [Repealed] Compare: 1968 No 62 s 67; 1970 No 60 s 2 Subsection (2) was repealed, as from 1 July 1992, by section 20 Family Proceedings Amendment Act 1991 (1991 No 144).
