36 Application of other provisions The rules of law relating to an application for an order dissolving a marriage or civil union and to any order dissolving a marriage or civil union shall, as far as they are applicable and with the necessary modifications, apply respectively to an application under section 32 of this Act and to an order made under section 34 of this Act. Compare: 1963 No 71 s 19(4) Section 36 was amended, as from 26 April 2005, by section 44(1) Civil Union Act 2004 (2004 No 102) by inserting the words “ or civil union ” after the word “ marriage ” in both places it appears.
