Section 103 — Health and Safety at Work Act 2015: Compliance with improvement notice

103 Compliance with improvement notice (1) A person who has been issued with an improvement notice must comply with the notice within the period specified in the notice. (2) A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on conviction,— (a) for an individual, to a fine not exceeding $50,000: (b) for any other person, to a fine not exceeding $250,000. (3) It is not an offence to fail to comply with recommendations in an improvement notice. Compare: 1992 No 96 s 39(5) ; Model Work Health and Safety Act (Aust) s 193
