Section 118 — Health and Safety at Work Act 2015: Inspector may display notice

118 Inspector may display notice (1) An inspector who issues a notice under section 116 may, either before or after issuing the notice, display a copy of the notice in a prominent place at or near the workplace, or part of the workplace, at which work is being carried out that is affected by the notice. (2) A person must not intentionally remove, destroy, damage, or deface a notice displayed under subsection (1) while the notice is in force. (3) A person who contravenes subsection (2) commits an offence and is liable on conviction,— (a) for an individual, to a fine not exceeding $5,000: (b) for any other person, to a fine not exceeding $25,000.
