Section 139 — Health and Safety at Work Act 2015: Revocation of infringement notice

139 Revocation of infringement notice (1) The regulator may revoke an infringement notice issued under section 138 before the infringement fee is paid or an order for payment of a fine is made or deemed to be made by a court under section 21 of the Summary Proceedings Act 1957. (2) An infringement notice is revoked by giving written notice to the person to whom it was issued that the notice is revoked. Compare: 1992 No 96 s 56B(2), (3)
