Section 159 — Health and Safety at Work Act 2015: Offence to fail to comply with order

159 Offence to fail to comply with order (1) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, fail to comply with an order under this subpart. (2) Subsection (1) does not apply to— (a) an order made under section 156 ; or (b) an injunction granted under section 157 . (3) A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on conviction,— (a) for an individual, to a fine not exceeding $50,000: (b) for any other person, to a fine not exceeding $250,000.
