Section 76 — Health and Safety at Work Act 2015: Display of provisional improvement notice

76 Display of provisional improvement notice (1) A person to whom a provisional improvement notice is issued must, as soon as practicable, display a copy of the notice in a prominent place at or near the workplace, or part of the workplace, at which work is being carried out that is affected by the notice. (2) A person must not intentionally remove, destroy, damage, or deface a notice displayed under subsection (1) during the period that the notice is in force. (3) A person who contravenes subsection (1) or (2) commits an offence and is liable on conviction,— (a) for an individual, to a fine not exceeding $5,000: (b) for any other person, to a fine not exceeding $25,000.
