3 Transitional provision relating to Geothermal Energy Regulations 1961 (1) The Geothermal Energy Regulations 1961 (SR 1961/124) made under the Geothermal Energy Act 1953 are to be treated as regulations made under this Act and may be amended or revoked accordingly. (2) A person who contravenes a provision of the regulations specified in subclause (1) commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $50,000.
