6 How Part 3 applies in mining sector (1) For the purposes of the mining sector, the provisions in Part 3 , unless the context otherwise requires, must be read as if— (a) every reference to a PCBU were a reference to the mine operator: (b) every reference to a work group or members of a work group were a reference to— (i) a group of mine workers who are represented by a health and safety representative; or (ii) mine workers in a mining operation: (c) every reference to a business or undertaking were a reference to a mining operation. (2) Despite subclause (1)(a), references to a PCBU in section 84 must be read as references to the site senior executive.
