82 Information gathering and disclosure by Commission (1) When the Commission gathers information about a complaint under section 76(2)(b) for the purposes of section 76(2)(c) or (d) — (a) that process must be conducted in private: (b) the Commission may hear or obtain information from any persons it thinks fit: (c) except as provided in section 81(4)(b) , no person is entitled as of right to be heard by the Commission. (2) The Commission must make all reasonable efforts to give all parties concerned all relevant information gathered (if any) by it in relation to a complaint promptly after the information is gathered. Sections 75 to 92 were substituted, as from 1 January 2002, by section 9 Human Rights Amendment Act 2001 (2001 No 96).
