Section 86 — Human Rights Act 1993: Evidence as to dispute resolution meeting

86 Evidence as to dispute resolution meeting (1) No mediator at a dispute resolution meeting may give evidence in any proceedings, whether under this Act or any other Act, about— (a) the meeting; or (b) anything related to the meeting that comes to his or her knowledge for the purposes of, or in the course of, the meeting. (2) No evidence is admissible in any court, or before any person acting judicially, of any statement, admission, document, or information that, under section 85(1) , is required to be kept confidential. Sections 75 to 92 were substituted, as from 1 January 2002, by section 9 Human Rights Amendment Act 2001 (2001 No 96).
