Section 126 — Immigration Act 2009: Recognition of refugees selected outside New Zealand

126 Recognition of refugees selected outside New Zealand A person must be recognised as a refugee in New Zealand, without the need for submission and determination of a claim under this Part, if, whether before or after the commencement of this section, he or she has been— (a) recognised as a refugee outside New Zealand; and (b) brought to New Zealand under a government mandated programme on the basis of that recognition.
