Section 225 — Immigration Act 2009: How appeal or matter lodged

225 How appeal or matter lodged (1) An appeal or matter must be lodged in the prescribed manner and be accompanied by the prescribed fee (if any). (2) The appellant or affected person must— (a) provide the Tribunal with— (i) a current address in New Zealand to which communications relating to the appeal or matter may be sent or, in the case of an appeal under section 187 by a person who is outside New Zealand, an address to which communications relating to the appeal may be sent; and (ii) if applicable, the appellant's or the affected person's current residential address in New Zealand (if any); and (b) notify the Tribunal in a timely manner of a change in any of those addresses. (3) An applicant must also provide to the Tribunal a current address in New Zealand to which communications relating to the matter may be sent. (4) The Tribunal may rely on the latest address provided for the purpose of communications relating to an appeal or matter.
