Section 228 — Immigration Act 2009: Information Tribunal may consider

228 Information Tribunal may consider (1) When considering an appeal or a matter, the Tribunal may seek information from any source. (2) However, the Tribunal is not obliged to seek any information, evidence, or submissions further to those provided by the appellant or the affected person and the Minister, the chief executive, or a refugee and protection officer (as the case may be), and may determine the appeal or matter only on the basis of the information, evidence, and submissions provided by those persons.
