Section 25 — Immigration Act 2009: Publication of immigration instructions

25 Publication of immigration instructions (1) The chief executive must publish immigration instructions. (2) The chief executive must ensure that copies of immigration instructions are available or readily obtainable for inspection, free of charge, at— (a) offices of the Department; and (b) New Zealand government offices overseas that deal with immigration matters. (3) Nothing in subsection (2) requires the making available of information that could properly be withheld in accordance with the provisions of the Official Information Act 1982 , were a request to be made for the information under that Act.
