Section 390 — Immigration Act 2009: Designation of refugee and protection officers

390 Designation of refugee and protection officers (1) The chief executive may designate as refugee and protection officers the persons employed in the Department that the chief executive considers necessary for the purposes of this Act. (2) A person designated as a refugee and protection officer may perform all the functions and exercise all the powers of a refugee and protection officer. (3) Subsection (2) is subject to section 33(2)(b) .
