Section 5 — Immigration Act 2009: Notifications

5 Notifications (1) Where this Act or regulations under this Act provide that any notice or other document must be served on or supplied to the Minister, it must be served or supplied in accordance with section 386(1) . (2) Where this Act or regulations under this Act provide that any notice or other document must be served on or supplied to an immigration officer or a refugee and protection officer, it must be served or supplied in accordance with section 386(2) . (3) Where this Act or regulations under this Act provide that any notice or other document must be served on or supplied to any other person, or the person must be notified of any decision, matter, or other thing, it must be served, supplied, or notified in accordance with section 386(3) . (4) Subsections (1) to (3) are subject to section 386(8) .
