Section Sch2-8 — Immigration Act 2009: Evidence

8 Evidence (1) The Tribunal may receive as evidence any statement, document, information, or matter that in its opinion may assist it to deal effectively with the subject of the proceedings before it, whether or not it would be admissible in a court of law. (2) Subject to subclause (1) and section 368(1) , the Evidence Act 2006 applies to the Tribunal as if it were a court.
