Section RE 23 — Income Tax Act 2007: When amount of tax treated as FDP credit

RE 23 When amount of tax treated as FDP credit When this section applies (1) This section applies when a company withholds RWT for resident passive income consisting of a dividend other than a dividend treated as interest. FDP credit (2) The amount is treated as an FDP credit attached to the dividend by the company which is treated as a FDPA company for the purposes of sections LE 6 , LF 1 , LF 3 , LF 4 , and LF 9 (which relate to the amount and treatment of FDP credits), and section 185 of the Tax Administration Act 1994.
