24 Cover for personal injury caused by work-related gradual process, disease, or infection: exclusion for events occurring outside New Zealand before 1 April 1974 (1) A person does not have cover for a personal injury caused by a work-related gradual process, disease, or infection if— (a) he or she suffers the personal injury because, before 1 April 1974, he or she performed a task, or worked in an environment, in the circumstances described in section 30(2) ; and (b) he or she performed the task, or worked in the environment, outside New Zealand; and (c) he or she was not ordinarily resident in New Zealand when he or she performed the task or worked in the environment (whether or not he or she is ordinarily resident in New Zealand on the date on which he or she suffers the personal injury).
