257 Application of sections 248 , 249 , and 254 to third parties Sections 248 , 249 , and 254 apply in respect of any sum of money paid or applied under an agreement or contract or arrangement between the Corporation and a third party (who is a person other than the person who suffered the personal injury concerned) to provide treatment or other entitlement in respect of personal injury covered by this Act as if that sum were a sum of money received from the Corporation by the person who suffered that personal injury.
