Section 267 — Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation Act 2001: Board of Corporation

267 Board of Corporation (1) The Board of the Corporation consists of not more than 8 members appointed by the Minister under section 28(1)(a) of the Crown Entities Act 2004 . (2) A person is not interested in a matter for the purposes of section 62(2) of the Crown Entities Act 2004 only because he or she is a taxpayer or private motorist. (3) [Repealed] (4) [Repealed] (5) The members of the Board of the Corporation who held office immediately before the commencement of this section hold office under this section for the remainder of the terms for which they were appointed as members of the Board under the Accident Insurance Act 1998. (6) The Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the Corporation are the persons who held those positions under the Accident Insurance Act 1998 immediately before the commencement of this section. Compare: 1998 No 114 s 336 Subsection (1) was amended, as from 25 January 2005, by section 200 Crown Entities Act 2004 (2004 No 115) by substituting the words “ appointed by the Minister under section 28(1)(a) of the Crown Entities Act 2004 ” for the words “ to be appointed by the Minister ” . Subsection (2) was substituted, as from 25 January 2005, by section 200 Crown Entities Act 2004 (2004 No 115). Subsections (3) and (4) were repealed, as from 25 January 2005, by section 200 Crown Entities Act 2004 (2004 No 115).
