290 Information manager can require government agencies to provide injury-related information (1) Without limiting section 289(3) , an information manager may require a government agency (other than Statistics New Zealand) that holds information relevant to the purpose of this Part to provide the information to the manager. (2) The manager and the agency must enter into an understanding or arrangement with each other governing the provision of the information. (3) For the purposes of the Privacy Act 1993 and any other enactment relating to the provision of information, a requirement under subsection (1) is sufficient authority for an agency to provide specified information to a manager.
