323 Regulations relating to claims for noise-induced hearing loss caused by work-related gradual process (1) For the purposes of Part 3 , the Governor-General may, on the recommendation of the Minister, by Order in Council, make regulations— (a) prescribing the conditions under which the Corporation is to apply the pure tone audiometry test or any other appropriate test, under section 61 , to assess the percentage of binaural hearing loss that is a personal injury caused by noise exposure within a person's employment: (b) prescribing any other matters relating to the tests. (2) The Minister must not make any recommendation under subsection (1) without first consulting the persons or organisations the Minister considers appropriate, having regard to the subject-matter of the proposed regulations.
